Australian Mines Limited is an ASX-listed resource company pursuing a dominant position in the production and supply of battery and technology metals to global markets. The company is developing world-class cobalt-scandium-nickel projects in Australia to meet demand created by the global shift to cleaner, more sustainable energy sources.

History & Ethos

Australian Mines was formed in 2001 with nickel exploration and production as its initial focus. The Company is an experienced miner, having owned and operated the Blair underground nickel sulphide mine in Western Australia.

Mission

We are committed to becoming a significant producer of essential technology metals by bringing our cobalt-scandium-nickel ore bodies into production in the shortest possible timeframe.

Our aim is to deliver consistent and considerable value to our shareholders through the sale of these high value commodities to end-customers in a range of high technology manufacturing sectors, including the battery and transport industries.

Corporate Governance

Integrity, transparency and accountability are the pillars of corporate governance at Australian Mines. We are committed on behalf of our shareholders to meeting the requirements of the ASX Corporate Governance Council Principles and Recommendations 2nd edition August 2007 as published by the ASX Corporate Governance Council.

In 2002, Australian Mines adopted the Australian Institute of Company Director’s Code of Conduct (“AICD Code”) to set appropriate standards of ethical and professional behaviour for its directors. In June 2005, the Company adopted a Code of Conduct for Directors and Key Executives, which affirmed the Company’s adoption of the AICD Code as appropriately setting the standards of ethical behaviour for directors. We have also adopted a General Corporate Code of Conduct which details the Company’s commitment to appropriate corporate practices to its legitimate stakeholders and sets the standards expected of officers and employees in carrying out their duties.
