Finance Manager
This is a permanent full-time opportunity reporting into the CFO.
The primary function of this key position is to provide timely and accurate completion of month end and
periodic financial and operational results and forecasts to management and the Board. We are seeking
applicants who can effectively communicate and build ongoing relationships with internal and external
stakeholders. Some of the accountabilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring all activities comply with relevant accounting, professional and ethical standards
Managing the accounts payable team
Providing high quality information for presentation to Management, Board and other stakeholders
Day-to-day treasury management, bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting
Monthly ATO and external adhoc reporting & payments
Overall GL responsibility including account reconciliations, accruals, etc
Ensuring stakeholder queries are addressed at a timely manner
Continuous review of and improvement to current suite of reports to improve stakeholder’s understanding of
the organisation’s financials and business model
Ensuring best practice internal controls
Ensuring the smooth running of the annual financial audit
Providing mentoring to finance staff
Assisting with the end-to-end annual budget process
Essential Criteria:
CA, CPA or similar with a minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Highly developed interpersonal skills
Ability to work and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders internally and externally
Ability to work independently and efficiently and to prioritise, organise and delegate
Demonstrated skills in team leadership, problem solving, and customer focused service delivery
Strong analytical ability
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Willingness to travel to the other homes
